For those who attended our menopause virtual education event last Wednesday, or were unable to make it, here is a list of exercise options and support in South Bristol:

Warrior Women Gym (Ashton) – Warrior Women Gym – Bristol’s Premier Women Only Gym. At Warrior Women Gym, we are dedicated to creating an empowering, inclusive, and supportive environment for women of all fitness levels.
Workout Bristol (Ashton) – Home – Workout Bristol. Includes women only weight room, equipment and other classes.
Steppin Sistas – BRISTOL STEPPIN SISTAS – Grassroots walking group of women of colour established that aims to reach out to local women in the area who identify with our lived experience to encourage an interest in walking and thriving in open spaces.
Gentle walking:
Healthier with Nature is the Green Social Prescribing Programme for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. GPs, link workers and other professionals refer people to local, non-clinical nature-based activities such as walking, gardening, animal care, conservation, art or nature connection programmes. You can access a number of different friends of park groups, walking routes, gardening groups etc. Many are free but some may have a waiting list.
